Hi, I’m Liana. Welcome to my blog!
I love a good adventure. I’m from Massachusetts (USA), but I grew up in Thailand. My parents loved to travel, and whether I liked it or not, I was often going somewhere with my family on the weekends and school holidays. Sometimes we stayed in posh resorts on the Thai coast, but if we were feeling a bit more adventurous, we’d end up at some termite-infested bungalow on a secluded, turquoise beach or traipsing through a tropical rain forest. Whether on a weekend jaunt or a longer exploration, travel adventure became an essential part of my life.
Now, I feel most at home on the road, having new experiences in unfamiliar places. There is so much to gain from a good adventure: one can learn about different cultures and ancient civilizations, taste new foods, and explore beautiful, natural wonders.
Traveling is also a great way to challenge yourself, to try something new, sometimes on your own with nobody holding your hand.
Most of all, I love to talk about all of my exciting discoveries with other people who are fascinated by the same things – which is one of the reasons I started this blog.
